Mehrak Farahmand, OD

Dr. Mehrak Farahmand joined Vantage Eye Center in 2007 after five years in solo practice operating her own offices and working as a mobile optometrist to serve over two-hundred nursing homes and adult day care centers throughout Southern California. She received her undergraduate degree at UCLA and then attended the Southern California College of Optometry where she graduated with honors.

Dr. Farahmand has extensive experience in low vision and advanced contact lens fittings, including rigid contact lenses, toric contact lenses for astigmatism correction, and bifocal contact lenses.

Her hobbies include traveling, playing the piano, learning new languages, and spending time with her husband and two little girls. With regard to her affiliation at Vantage Eye Center, Dr. Farahmand states, “It’s really wonderful to practice optometry at a facility on the cutting edge of science and technology with such a renowned group of professionals.”
