Alex Holmes, MD

Dr. Alex Holmes joined Vantage Eye Center in January, 2011. Dr. Holmes received his undergraduate degree at University of California at Santa Barbara, and his medical doctorate at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, where he graduated with honors. Dr. Holmes completed his ophthalmology residency at University of Texas, Galveston, and has been in practice in Monterey since 1994. He was one of the first ophthalmologist to bring laser vision correction to the Peninsula. He has served as Chairman of the department of Ophthalmology at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.
