Helena Gali, MD joined Vantage in 2025. Dr. Gali is a native Californian, born and raised in Los Gatos, CA. She graduated from Yale University with a degree in Environmental Engineering.
Dr. Gali received her medical degree from the University of California San Diego, where she received the Excellence in Ophthalmology award. Her research led to multiple publications in major ophthalmology journals. She completed her residency training in ophthalmology at the University of California San Diego Shiley Eye Institute, serving a diverse patient population including patients at the San Diego VA.
Dr. Gali then went on to specialize in glaucoma, completing her glaucoma fellowship at Stanford at the Byers Eye Institute. With her training at Stanford, she utilizes advanced surgical techniques for cataract and glaucoma treatment, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and specialty intraocular lens implantation, as well as traditional glaucoma procedures.
