About Dr. Iranmanesh
Dr. Reza Iranmanesh is a fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon at Vantage Eye Center, where he has been caring for patients across Monterey and Salinas since 2010. As one of the practice’s dedicated retina specialists, he focuses on advanced diagnosis and treatment aimed at preserving and restoring sight.

Education & Training
Dr. Iranmanesh received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his medical degree from Saint Louis University. Dr Iranmanesh completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado and a two-year vitreo-retinal surgical fellowship at the prestigious Columbia University (Harkness Eye Institute). After completion of his fellowship training, he was invited to join the full-time faculty at Columbia University where he worked for an additional 4 years as Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology.
Professional Accolades & Expertise
Dr. Iranmanesh has authored numerous articles and book chapters on retinal disease, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, and complex retinal detachment repair.
He is an active member of:

Outside of the clinic and operating room, Dr. Iranmanesh enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and their three children.
